St Andrews Hospice cares for people of all ages, with life-limiting illnesses in North East Lincolnshire. It also offers help and support to patients' families.

For Learning at Work Week, St Andrew’s Hospice is delivering a full programme of activities designed to enhance colleagues’ professional career and everyday life. Twenty-nine workshops over seven days will be delivered virtually. A digital learning library of curated courses will also be made available for staff to access as and when they choose consisting of free online courses. The week will launch with a presentation by the CEO and Deputy CEO. Colleagues will share their skills and deliver workshops on topics including dementia, managing anxiety and relaxation. Staff will have the chance to brush up on their technology skills with sessions on how to get the most out of Zoom and MS Word amongst others. In addition, external facilitators will deliver sessions on falls prevention and organ donation.

Paladone’s Learning at Work Week will focus on ‘Navigating our new world’ to support colleagues working both at home and in the office. The week will provide colleagues with activities, hints and tips on coping during these challenging times. Resources will be available on a range of topics including Resilience and Wellbeing, Understanding Change and Innovation. Colleagues will be able to explore the Insights Colour Preferences Discovery tool. Paladone’s managers will be able to access tools to support them to lead remotely. A workshop on Refocusing our efforts will support the continuing success of Paladone.

The Law Society 

The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors. 

The Law Society has designed its Learning at Work Week to support adaptability, resilience and effective learning capabilities. There will be opportunities for colleagues to share learning experiences, collaborate and connect with others whilst working remotely. There are over 50 learning opportunities on offer including how to give effective feedback, how to run remote meetings and use tools for remote working and learning journeys. A big focus will be on mental health and wellbeing. The Law Society will team Learning at Work Week with World Mental Health Day on 10thOctober to support mental health journeys with special resources and sessions including managing your emotions and developing a growth mindset.
