Design Thinking to Develop Your Family Offer

This workshop will help you challenge assumptions, understand barriers and develop innovative activities, programmes or new business propositions that are custom-built for your families.

Design Thinking is a human-centred approach to creating activity. It places co-creation with families at the heart of developing new programmes, projects and curriculum that are directly aligned to the needs and wants of your families. Applying this practical and creative approach can help you to tackle thorny issues, challenge assumptions, understand barriers and develop innovative curriculum, programmes or new business propositions that are custom-built for your families.

The workshop provides attendees with:

  • An understanding of the core principles of Design Thinking, including a guide to each of the 6 stages used in this methodology
  • Tools and frameworks for a range of activity development to support each stage of the process
  • An overview of some free online tools which can be used for collaborative working, tracking and managing the design thinking process
  • Ideas on how to maximise the benefits of Design Thinking to develop innovative programmes, projects or curriculum.
  • The confidence to use Design Thinking to develop activities that are aligned to the needs of your families.
