Cambridge Network, Jagex and Taylor Vinters are inviting Cambridge companies to join them for a networking event to celebrate Learning at Work Week. The ‘Bingling’ event will be an evening of networking and prizes hosted at Jagex, home of living games, on Friday 18th May.

Games developer and publisher Jagex and international law firm Taylor Vinters are based at Cambridge Science Park. They won national awards for their Learning at Work Weeks in 2017. Cambridge Network is a membership organisation that brings people together from business and academia to meet, share ideas, and encourage collaboration and partnership.

As member organisations, Jagex and Taylor Vinter have been working with Cambridge Network to promote Learning at Work Week across businesses in the city with the aim of making it a hub of learning for the week. This included a special presentation by Dave Bevan and Jan Holmes to Cambridge Network members on how to get involved.

The Bingling event will mark a culmination of activities taking place during Learning at Work Week. On registration, attendees will be asked to write one fun or interesting fact about themselves to be placed on bingo cards. For example: “I was in a Sugar Puffs advert with David Beckham” – “I did a bungee jump in New Zealand” – "I have given blood more than 50 times” At the event, everyone will be given a bingo card and can win prizes by meeting all of the people whose fun facts appear on the card.
