The Department for Education is consulting on plans to improve adult basic digital skills, including the introduction of new national standards and improved qualifications that will be fully funded for adults who need them from 2020. In this seminar, Jay Hunt from the Department for Education, will provide an update on the basic digital skills entitlement and strategy. He will set out the plans and seek the views of attendees. He will also provide an update on post-16 English and maths.

The seminar will be chaired by Tricia Hartley, Lead Adviser to the Campaign, under the Chatham House Rule and there will be plenty of time for discussion.
