Discuss the policies and latest developments that will affect Apprenticeships for levy payers and the practical delivery of high quality Apprenticeships including End Point Assessments.

This one day free event for employers includes briefings, roundtable discussions and question and answer sessions on the latest developments and issues for Apprenticeships in England.

The Campaign for Learning and NCFE are holding this joint event for colleagues from levy paying companies who are involved in the planning and implementation of Apprenticeships for their company.

It will include:

  • Reflection and overview on the first nine months of the Apprenticeship Levy – what have we learned and what can we expect going forward
  • Briefings on the rules and policies to watch out for and how these might develop in the future - e.g. the 20% off the job training rule and T-Level pathways which will be delivered through Apprenticeships
  • Roundtable discussion and plenary on burning issues, technical points and questions posed by participants*. These may include discussions on areas where more clarity is being sought e.g. external quality assurance (EQA) for standards and the situation for standards without an EQA body; and the role and remit of Ofsted relating to the inspection framework

NCFE is an approved End Point Assessment Organisation on the register** for a number of subject areas. NCFE’s team of experienced assessment professionals works with employers and training providers alike to offer a full end-point assessment service, which fits with the specific needs of your sector. With this in mind, the event will include a special briefing session on how End Point Assessment works NCFE’s service, including a demonstration of the new customer portal.
