This practical course will enable you to run the Family Fortunes programme, a preventative approach that helps parents and children to develop positive money habits, whilst having fun learning together. The programme was funded by the Money Advice Service and evaluated by UCL.

This training course is for anyone looking to better support families with financial education and money management. It provides skills for those with no 
financial capability training and offers new approaches for those who have already worked in this field. 

The workshop provides attendees with:

  • an online toolkit, marketing materials and access to a series of webinars to enable them to deliver the 'Family Fortunes' programme as soon as they get back to their organisation.
  • an opportunity to share experiences and understand how to adapt the resources to your families and setting.
  • explore how the resources can be adapted to deliver it in early year's settings

  • housing associations
  • schools and colleges
  • libraries
  • galleries
  • job centres
  • foodbanks
  • community banking
  • or out in the wider community
