Want to be part of an exciting Family Learning research project?

Join us to find out about Family Fortunes, an innovative training programme which helps families to improve their financial wellbeing and resilience.

Families are under increasing financial pressure, but often don’t seek help until they reach crisis point. Family Fortunes is a preventative approach that helps parents and children to develop positive money habits that will last them a lifetime, whilst having fun learning together.

This training workshop is taking place in London. We are also holding a workshop in Birmingham on 11th September.

Who should attend?

  • Family Learning Tutors

  • ESOL Tutors

  • Practitioners and educators working with families to support learning

Why attend?

The training provides an opportunity to develop your own skills and knowledge and increase your capacity to deliver valuable support for families in your community.

Alongside the free training we provide practitioners with practical activity ideas, access to exclusive resources and simple evaluation tools to measure the programme’s impact.

Requirements to attend

Free training places are limited and available to practitioners who are able to deliver the 10-hour financial capability programme by October 2017 to local families who have English as an Additional Language (EAL) with children aged 7-11.

Please note lunch will be provided and travel costs will be covered for tutors attending the training. Please contact us for reimbursement prior to making your travel arrangements.
