Learning campaigns and events are a great way of raising the profile of learning and development in the workplace - but they can be so much more than that. Used strategically, they can help address a range of business problems and issues, and contribute to shifts in behaviour and culture. This one day workshop will look at building powerful learning campaigns and can be used to help your plans for Learning at Work Week 2019 too.

What we'll do on the day

Starting with a business issue or challenge, we'll take you through the approaches and steps you use to design a learning campaign that is solution-focused, engaging and creative, and supports your long-term learning and development plans. We'll draw on examples of inspirational and successful learning campaigns that companies have delivered including as part of Learning at Work Week.

The framework we will use in the workshop can be applied to campaigns and activities of all sizes so you'll be able to use it again and again.

We'll cover:

  • Identifying and understanding your business issue - analysing it from a learning and development perspective to define the goals of your learning campaign
  • Building your strategy - segmentation, motivation for learning, campaign structures and using a theme
  • Planning your learning campaign - your tactics (including understanding your learning audience, creating linked activities, promotion and sustaining the impact
  • Free and lost cost resources that you can use to support and enrich your campaign activities
  • Evaluating - defining success measures, reviewing and refining

This workshop will be particularly beneficial for HR and Learning and Development Professionals and their colleagues who are looking for new, practical and innovative ways to drive learning and development, promote lifelong learning and continual development, and build learning cultures at work.

Please note, as there is some overlap, delegates may not gain as much benefit if they have already attended a Learning at Work Week planning workshop.
