About the Network
The Campaign for Learning’s National Workplace Learning Network has been established to build on our expertise in the workplace learning. It is open to interested parties to share good practice, keep up-to-date, network and discuss, and influence development and change with regard to all workplace learning issues.
The objectives of the Workplace Learning Network are:
-
To share good practice, resources, expertise, and updates on policy and practice. We aim to produce materials and provide support to members that will help them develop themselves and their organisation
-
To create opportunities to meet and compare notes with like-minded people through events and activities that disseminate and support the work of the Network, and so provide the opportunity for people and organisations to collaborate to achieve shared goals and reach their full potential
-
To research areas of interest and importance by taking on project work on workplace learning issues
The Campaign for Learning has always reached a wide audience when engaging people in workplace learning. For example, people at all levels have initiated and participated in National Learning at Work Day. In some organisations the Day has been led from management level down, in some ‘shop-floor’ up, or is the result of collaboration across an organisation. Continuing this tradition, the National Workplace Learning Network is open to anyone with an interest in workplace learning, so that as many people as possible can take advantage of and engage with learning in the workplace.
Is membership for you? We’re interested in hearing from you if you’re a ULR, an informal learning champion in a non-unionised company, a shop-floor supervisor or manager, someone from HR/Personnel, someone with a formal Learning and Development role - or in fact anyone who is interested or active in workplace learning. The Network has been set up for you!
Joining the National Workplace Learning Network is FREE.
