Re:evolution, the project which is successfully engaging young people in learning and culture in the south west is coming to a close. The Heritage Lottery Funded project is a partnership with museums, The Foyer Federation, Campaign for Learning and the South West Museums Libraries and Archives Council. A Family Learning Resource pack created by the Campaign for Learning for the BBC WW2 People's War project is now available from our website www.campaignforlearning.org.uk It's designed to help family learning event organisers create exciting learning opportunities and inspire families to pass on their stories to future generations via the BBC's website www.bbc.co.uk/ww2

Young people who enjoy learning new things are more likely to receive encouragement from their parents. The results from the MORI Schools Omnibus survey conducted for the Campaign for Learning and sponsored by Select Education, confirms previous Campaign reports which show that parental support for learning is the most important factor in children's achievements at school.

The Campaign for Learning's Equal Project is looking at how best to promote and deliver workplace learning especially to those with essential skills needs. The year 2 report is available shortly and findings from the project so far will be presented at a Dti sponsored event on 26 November. See events page for conference details.

The TUC's union learning reps publication, The Quiet Revolution which was originally written by the Campaign for Learning is being revised. Susie Parsons in the foreword to the new edition says 'The Campaign for Learning is proud to be working with the TUC to support the development of these very important learning champions.'
