The umbrella theme for this year's Learning at Work Day is 'Sustainable Workplaces' which is all about making organisations aware of changes in legislation, the environment, technological advances, social and economic trends and how they can best adapt to them.
‘Sustainable workplaces’ has been split into 3 main strands. These are:

Environment - Organisations can focus on our surroundings in terms of carbon footprint, health & safety, community, global sustainability and growth.

Work/life balance - Organisations can focus on maintaining the wellbeing of individuals in terms of health, flexible working, timekeeping, stress, or working from home.

Learning through life - Organisations can focus on their skills requirements and the need for continual learning such as Skills for Life needs (numeracy and literacy), soft skills, learning influencers (peer, line manager, ULRs, coaching, mentoring).
