“Making the Work Programme Work” Masterclass

This one-day master class, delivered by Chris Hodson, Policy Consultant to the Campaign for Learning, will provide participants with an overview of the new Work Programme, including the available funding, operational imperatives and likely impact on providers of this new programme. The session will cover the Work Programme from a provider and individual customer perspective.

Chris Hodson is a consultant specialising in welfare to work. He has worked within the sector since the introduction of the New Deal in 1998, and been involved with all major welfare to work initiatives since then. He has held senior roles with leading providers with responsibilities including tender response, policy and operational management. In 2010 Chris was instrumental in the creation of The Work Alliance, which is working to better integrate specialist providers within the delivery of major programmes.
