About Campaign for Learning policy

The Campaign for Learning works to shape learning policy to create a society where individuals are able to learn to sustain them for life. It does this through research, reports, responses to government documents and policy events. Many of our policy activities are in conducted in partnership with organisations from the fields of family learning, schools and workforce development.

The Campaign for Learning’s policy work is informed by research. Our current and recent research projects include the Learning to learn in Schools action research project, Making Learning Work Equal-funded project which has evaluated what works in raising demand for learning in the workplace and our First Steps into Learning research which explored the learning motivators for different target groups.

To view further details about our research please use the menu on the left.

We also publish reports aimed at influencing government policy. For example, Family Learning Agenda for Action, a collaborative statement by key stakeholders in the family learning field made recommendations to national and local government for this important area. Our policy responses to government documents can be found by clicking here.

Our policy events feature high profile speakers and bring together policy makers, senior level decision makers, education thinkers, learning professionals and practitioners to discuss the emerging issues for learning, education and skills. For further information and details of how to obtain reports on these events please click here. For forthcoming Policy Events, please visit our events page by clicking here.
