The beauty of Family Learning Week


The Campaign for Learning was delighted to have worked with young & pure for this year’s Family Learning Week. The natural skin care producer sponsored a number of key activities for the Campaign including health and wellbeing family learning activities, and an award for the Best Wellbeing event for Family Learning Week . They also supported the national launch event, at which their founder Lianne Miller spoke and young & pure representatives ran cleansing demonstrations for guests. The Campaign and young & pure also commissioned a joint MORI survey with teenagers on their purchasing habits, attitudes on environmental issues, knowledge of natural products and what they do and would like to do as a family. Results from this survey are due to be published shortly. The Campaign for Learning reciprocated young & pure’s support of Family Learning Week by speaking at their UK launch held on 23 October at Whole Foods Market in central London.

Another key sponsor of Family Learning Week 2007 was Velvet, the makers of toilet tissue and creators of the Baby MD in their advertising. They sponsored an award for the Best Photographic event for Family Learning Week to coincide with their young wildlife photographic competition that launched this month in partnership with the WWF.
