£1 billion of ESF bidding opportunities from September
The DWP and SFA are expected to issue calls for £1 billion of European Social Fund (ESF) activity starting September. The winning bids will be broad and deep partnerships - and to be successful they need YOU! It doesn't matter if you think you can't bid - you can be a partner.
AELP and the Campaign for Learning are running a database to help partners find each other. Major players in the industry such as Babcock, Capita, People Plus, PPDG, Reed in Partnership, Seetec, Tribal, Interserve and many more, are already involved on the database and looking for partners. They are looking for organisations just like yours.
" At Capita Talent we are constantly looking out for partners big and small to help us expand our offering to communities. We see this database as an excellent resource for finding warm leads to help us build partnerships for ESIF and beyond." Richard Marsh, Operations Director, Capita Talent
What are the funders looking for?
The funding will support social inclusion, skills and employment priorities in Local Enterprise Partnerships across the country. For example:
London LEP wants to move disadvantaged BAME women closer to employment
Tees Valley LEP wants to provide opportunities for people to access work experience and training, and support young people to move from training to work
Greater Manchester LEP wants to run an early intervention programme for 15-18 year olds
Could your organisation help these and the other 35 LEPs across the country deliver these and many similar priorities?
Are you interested in accessing 100% funding for this work through ESF and the Skills Funding Agency, Big Lottery or Department for Work and Pensions?
If so, join the database today! You just need to fill in a simple 5-minute Expression of Interest Form to help other organisations understand what you can offer: visit www.aelpevents.org.uk/esif
£149.00 + VAT not only gets you access to the database (so you can approach other potential organisations directly) but also analysis on the ESIF funding intentions of all 39 LEPs.
Bidding organisations are looking to build their partnerships now, so the sooner you are on, the sooner you can get seen!
