Registering your event

Last year an estimated 300,000 family members took part in Family Learning Week events across the country. By adding your event to the website we can:

There are three ways in which you can register your events for this year's Family Learning Festival:

Online
Faxback form
Spreadsheet (ideal if you have 10 activities or more to enter)

It is extremely important that you register your event with us for three simple reasons:

1. Publicity for your event

learndirect have access to our online database which lists all of the events that are happening during this year's Family Learning Festival. We publicise the advice line number - 0800 66 0800 - which the general public can ring to find out what is happening in their area. If the information is not displayed on our database they will not be made aware of it. The advisors also have the opportunity to find out if the caller has any other learning needs which is a great way of starting the ball rolling with regards to their first steps in to learning.

2. To take part in our PR campaign

We are always on the look out for case studies and interesting events for our national and regional PR campaigns. If we are aware of the events that you are organising we can contact you for this information and help you to promote your own events at the same time. If you would like to discuss your PR requirements contact Louise, our PR Manager, on 020 7766 0003or email (please note that the Campaign for Learning cannot guarantee media coverage).

3. To help the Campaign for Learning

Each year the Campaign for Learning reviews how we can improve the support we offer to you - our organisers. Also, as we are a charity, we rely on funding. Being aware of the number and types of events that are organised each year helps us with our planning to improve our service to you and helps secure our funding to sustain this campaign.
