| 2pm-4pm Cost: £75 (no VAT) Discounts available for Friends of the Campaign, Sole Traders and VCS organisations As the Work and Pensions Committee starts its inquiry into the Government’s approach to Youth Unemployment – the recently launched Youth Contract – the Campaign for Learning is running a special seminar to examine the issues. The seminar will first go through the statistics to see what they really tell us about youth unemployment and activity in the round, and second, consider new steps the Coalition Government can take to reduce the 1 million 18 to 24 year olds not in education, employment and training. Join Mark Corney, our resident policy adviser, for an assessment of the youth unemployment figures and a debate on new ideas to solve the problem. | ||||||||
