Learning campaigns and events are a powerful way of raising the profile of learning and development in the workplace but they can be so much more than that. Used strategically, they can help towards addressing a range of business problems and issues, and contribute to behaviour change.

Starting with a business issue or challenge, this workshop will take you through the approaches and steps you can use to design a learning campaign that is solution-focused, engaging and creative, and supports your long-term learning and development plans. We'll draw on tried and tested marketing techniques and emerging disciplines such as content strategy. We'll look at inspirational and successful learning campaigns that companies have delivered, including as part of Learning at Work Week.
The framework we will use in the workshop can be applied to campaigns and activities of all sizes, so you'll be able to use it again and again.

We'll cover:

>Identifying and understanding your business issue - analysing it from an L&D perspective to define the focus and goals of your learning campaign
> Building your strategy - segmentation, motivation for learning, using a theme and balancing objectives
> Planning your learning campaign - your tactics (including understanding your workplace learning audience, creating linked activities, promotion and sustaining the impact)
> Free and low cost resources that you can use to support your campaign activities
> Evaluating - defining success measures, reviewing and refining

This workshop will be particularly beneficial for HR and Learning and Development professionals and colleagues who have a remit for driving learning & development at work and are looking for new and practical approaches with a strategic focus.

Please note, as there is some overlap, delegates may not benefit if they have already attended a Learning at Work Week planning workshop. The workshop will help you plan learning campaigns through the year and be useful if you wish to plan for Learning at Work Week 2017.

The workshop will run from 10am-3.30pm and includes lunch. Refreshments on arrival from 9.45am.

The cost of this one-day workshop is 195 (no VAT) including lunch and materials (both in print and electronic formats).

There are discounts available for companies sending more than one delegate, and for VCS organisations. For more details please contact the event organiser.
