Family Learning approaches are proven to engage with hard to reach groups and build the confidence of learners, create valuable partnerships and raise an organisation's profile. Many organisations including schools, workplaces, libraries and community groups are already benefitting from running family learning programmes and activities, but if you're not sure where to start you might not be able to make the most out of this valuable approach.

This workshop is delivered by Alison Warren, who is highly experienced in developing and delivering family learning approaches in a wide range of settings. It is ideal if you want to connect with new audiences and build your services, but need an intensive introduction or refresher to get you started successfully.

In this workshop you will learn:

-The fundamentals of family learning from policy to practice
-The essential steps to planning, delivering, promoting and evaluating your family learning offer
-Find out where to source resources for your audience

Practical exercises will enable you to:
-Integrate family learning into your service offering
-Promote your offer to different audiences
-Learn new evaluation techniques to assess the success of your event

Discounts are available for this workshop. Please contact the event co-ordinator for more information.
