As part of budget 2010 due to be published by the end of March the Labour government is due to publish its cross cutting review of financial support for 16-18 year olds. Financial support to families and students is critical to increasing participation in education and training. Mick Fletcher will consider the short-term reform of financial support to young people and Mark Corney, Policy Adviser to the Campaign, will examine the proposals in the context of raising the participation age to 17 in 2013 and 18 in 2015.

Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign will chair the event and as usual delegates will have plenty of opportunities to discuss the issues.
