“Building brighter futures” – trick or treat
Campaign for Learning
19 Buckingham Street

17 January 2008
| Time: 11am - 1pm Cost: £80 plus VAT The Children’s Plan was presented to Parliament and launched by Ed Balls and his ministerial team in December. In this seminar, Chris Waterman, Children’s Services Editor of Education Journal, who heard the debate in Parliament and attended the launch, will argue that this plan is the most significant document yet to emerge from the Brown administration. With the emphasis on childhood and the need to look beyond the 9.00 to 4.00 school provision, the Children’s Plan demonstrates the commitment of the SOS to heading up the national children’s trust. As usual delegates will have plenty of opportunities to discuss the issues and questions raised. | ||||||||||||
