The new Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills is both responsible for RDAs and the forthcoming SFA. This policy event will examine the specific role of RDAs in the work of the SFA in England. A critical issue to be debated will regard the 8 non-London RDAs and the extent of their power of direction over the SFA for adult skills. These and other issues will be considered by this event.

We are delighted that Barbara Smith, Director of Employability and Skills, SEEDA will be joining us to discuss the issues. The event will be chaired by Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign for Learning. Delegates will have plenty of opportunities to discuss the issues and ask questions.
