| £99 plus VAT 2pm- 4pm After the Browne Review, the Coalition Government will set out more information about the funding of higher education in the Spending Review. Details on the single work programme and universal credit for out of work people will also be unveiled. 48 hours after the Government publishes the spending, on Friday 22nd October, the Campaign for Learning will be assessing the implications for higher education, adult skills and welfare to work. Mark Corney will give a critical assessment of the impact of the Spending Review 2010 with a focus on spending cuts in the Department for Business, Skills and Innovation and the Department for Work and Pensions. Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign For Learning will chair the event and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussions and questions.
