Reducing 16-17 year olds in Jobs without Training is critical to boosting participation in education and training in general and under the statutory learning leaving age in particular.

This event will examine the characteristics of the JWT group and assess the impact of Learning Agreements to assist 16-17 year in JWT to move into education and training. The event will also examine the potential role of Learning Agreement in the conext of raising the learning leaving age to 17 in 2013 and to 18 in 2015.

Speakers will include David Sangster of the LSC and Mark Corney, Policy Adviser to the Campaign.
