NFLN Conference - Families, Learning and Community Cohesion

Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham
10 July 2008

What do we mean by community cohesion?

How can Family Learning engage adults and children in promoting and developing community cohesion?

The conference provides opportunities to develop practical ideas for engaging families in this evolving area of work aimed at developing strong and tolerant communities.

There will be keynote speakers from Government and the voluntary sector. Workshops with voluntary organisations, museums and the education sector will capture the innovation and enjoyment within family learning programmes which contribute to creating community cohesion.

The conference is of interest to managers, practitioners and policymakers.
