| 10am - 3pm £195 (Discounts are available for voluntary and community organisations, sole traders and Friends of the Campaign). Family finance activities and programmes enable participants to increase their skills and knowledge so they can manage their money more effectively. Activities may involve adults and children or adults on their own, and provide a good opportunity to develop literacy and numeracy skills. This workshop is aimed at individuals new to family finance and/or people who wish to review and develop their family finance offer. It will cover the main aspects of developing and delivering family finance activities and programmes including content development and defining tutor roles, as well as how to make the activities attractive to families. The workshop is delivered by Alison Warren, who has designed many family finance programmes and has had an active role in supporting family learning practitioners including a role as national advisor for financial capability. Learning outcomes: By the end of this workshop participants will -Have an understanding of the key elements needed to develop and deliver successful family finance activities -Know how to plan and deliver family finance activities and programmes including content development and progression -Know how to promote their family finance offer to families -Understand their role and responsibilities in delivering family finance Audience: ·People working with families and new to family finance ·Family learning practitioners wishing to review and develop their family finance offer Discounts are available for this workshop.
