QCA recommends a flexible curriculum for KS3 that will inspire and engage students to become lifelong learners. How can we achieve this and still demonstrate rigorous academic achievement? This workshop is an opportunity to find out what the project taught us and what other schools are now doing to make progress with their KS3 curriculum. Objectives - At the end of the course participants will: - Discuss the impact of 2020 vision for personalising learning and subsequent developments in the KS3 curriculum - Reflect on the Learning to Learn principles and how they can be applied to create a competency based curriculum that addresses the PLTS - See examples of projects and resources to use back at school - Develop an action plan for moving your school forward with a creative, engaging curriculum For further details please see the attached outline below. | ||||||||
