Building on Learning at Work Day through Train to Gain


Learning and Work Day is all about uncovering the training needs of your business and / or inspiring further learning that will lead to benefits for your organisation and its staff. This year, the Campaign for Learning is particularly highlighting the support available to help you build on Learning and Work Day to ensure your business stays fit for now and for the future.

A key service that can help your business improve is Train to Gain. Managed and funded by the Learning and Skills Council, Train to Gain helps employers find the training they need to increase productivity and become more competitive.

Train to Gain offers employers:

Train to Gain offers tailored advice specific to your organisation and it is possible that on-site training may be the most suitable option for your business. Skills brokers will look at ways to minimise disruption and ensure that employee’s easily transfer their new skills into their working environment. Since it was launched in August 2006 over 78,760 employers have benefited from Train to Gain - helping improve the skills of almost 400,000 learners.
