Commissioning for Changing Times Events

The Campaign for Learning is running a new series of training events on Commissioning for Changing Times.

The original series was delivered as part of the MLA Strategic Commissioning CPD programme. It offered the cultural sector and children's workforce development professionals a practical insight into what commissioning is, why it's important, and how it can be an essential 'tool' to help your organisation ensure sustainability through a tough economic climate.

Participants learned how to effectively engage with the local commissioning process, and how to think and act strategically in response to changing times. Participant also had the chance to explore collaborative opportunities for the future, through dialogue with Children’s Services colleagues.

A comprehensive training pack was also developed and available to download – and is suitable for those looking to learn how to become involved with commissioning.
